I think it's because of the problem with IE:

Due to Server migration we also experienced our forum database crashing thus losing posts from as far as 3 weeks! Anyone that registered after 5th March 2008 will have to re-register unfortunately! Apologies for the disruption. Also there seems to be issues with viewing the forum in Internet Explore - if you have firefox please use that till we get it resolved
