question regarding posting up links

I tried to post up a link in one of my posts but it didn't work; doesn't it work for limmited members or was it due to an error?

I think it would be an error, it says in the FAQ that Limited Members are not allowed to:-

view profiles of other members
set the invisibility mode
use custom title
use signatures
view profile pictures
view private custom fields
upload profile pictures
send any private messages
use the reputation system

Since it dosen't mention anything about links, i would guess that you are allowed to post links :)
