Yesterday on a train I began reading the Koran, I'm appriximately 1/4 of the way through, and I was wondering.

The Hadiths, are they collected, like in a book(s)? Where would one find them?

thanks

Greetings,

The Hadeeths are collected and can be found in many books, and like the Qur'an many have commentarys on by the Scholars, so that the layman can understand the concept.

You can find Hadeeths in the two major books of Hadeeth Saheeh Bukhari & Saheeh Muslim as well as many others

Here is a good place to start :)

Hey

List of Hadith Books:

1- Sahih Al-Bukhari translated by M. Muhsin Khan.
2- Sahih Muslim translated by Abdul Hamid Siddiqui.
3- Sunan Abu-Dawud translated by Prof. Ahmad Hasan.
4- Malik's Muwatta translated by Aisha Abdarahman at-Tarjumana and Yaqub Johnson.

And it's Qur'aan, not Koran :)

Doesn't matter, same thing. In Swedish it's written like that for example.
