Before the EURO even started...no Malaysians support Turkey ...but me...

Traditionally Malaysians are supporters of England. Since the Englishmen are not around for Euro 2008... many support Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany and Spain.

None of Malaysians I've known support Turkey. They even ridicule me for being a supporter of Turkey...

Spain On Fire

Luis Aragones’ men are on fire, roaring into the last eight after finishing top of Group D with maximum points. They have scored eight goals in three games, and will go into this match as many people’s favourites to progress to the semi-finals.

Spain have indeed won all seven of their fixtures in 2008, including pre-Euro 2008 warm-up wins against France, U.S.A, Peru, and Italy themselves.

Italy – Luca Toni: Has still failed to score in Austria and Switzerland, and missed an absolute hatful of chances in the 2-0 win over France. However his overall game was good, and many feel it is only a matter of time until he finds the back of the net. If anyone is to score against Spain surely it will be Toni.

PREDICTION

This will surely be a tight game, and the chances are that it could go to extra time or even penalties. Clinical finishing could be the difference.

I think there is no such thing as 3rd and 4th places in Euro 2008... only in World Cup where Turkey got 3rd place in 2002...
