Imam Ibn Kathir رحمه الله said;

“Get your daughter married to a pious man. If he loves her, there will be mutual agreement and understanding. But if he dislikes her, his piety won’t allow him to oppress her.”​

lol you didnt read the saying properly

if he dislikes her, despite having emaan, all he can do is not oppress her,love is free of coercion as is religion.
