who is alexa?

This site, alexa.com, collects data from users of Alexa toolbar, and so it displays rank of a site, something about the site owner and similarly. It can't show the actual rank of site on the net (not all of us use this toolbar) but it can be an indicator.
 
interesting.. it gave us poor rating on speed lol

All this time I thought it was a Russian Secret Agent keeping track of us.

From what I understand it is very similar to nielsen ratings and serves to compare sites for ad rate value.

We are not doing very well with them, but seem to be growing.


They won't let me see their traffic rating.
