The Imam Shahi Bukhari attended the funeral of two brothers killed in Delhi. Is this Islamic to attend the funeral of these two "terrorist" as media puts it for the sahih bukari?

What are your thoughts?

Besides relatives, about 200 people including Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari remained present throughout the procession.

I didnt understand this. This verse is saying not to argue with people of books thats christians. But I'm talking about a action done by an Imam who is a brother. How does this verse relevant to the action of Imaam?
