6:am: i prayed after a struggle to wake up
getting ready... my face barely meets a touch of make up
tieing the scarf feeling cagey...
but proudly standing here bravely
on my right hand i have the pin
encouraging myself that if i do it..its a win win-
-situation, the summation is i will evade another sin
and of my lord im afraid and so i have conviction within
the whisperer comes when the time is critical
but my faith is strong tho, his effect is minimal
'take it off,if you want boys??'

im happily covered and not indiscreet
cus i know in the jungle...what happens to exposed meat

freestyle is when you visualize sentences with one or multiple rhyming words and the only difference between freestyle and poem's is the time factor, with poem's you have to think and perhaps write things down and that takes time but freestyle no pen and no paper, you just speak your mind

I agree freestyle can sound kool. I still dont see the difference between that and normal poetry though since it's not as though I sit down with my poems and make sure every single word is grammatically correct and edit each line like a thousand times to make it sound better. Isnt it the same as freestyle?

But anyway, main point is that I dont see why you have to use foul language in ur rhymes. It just defeats the purpose of beauty in poetry and taking a lesson from it. If I read something that sounds like it's been written on the streets, ima have a hard time relating to it.
