...rahiallahullah...

im not too sure who exactly this man was, but i do know that he's done some brilliant poetry (in arabic)...

anyway, these extracts from his poems are ones which i feel are brilliant.

ill add more in time, inshallah...let me know if they dont make sense, i translted them myself :hiding:

From tape one (there're about 5 tapes...as far as i know):
Tape 1

If what you possess is not sufficient for you***then everything on earth will not be sufficient for you.

O seeker of the Dunya, in the Dunya are the worries*** wherever you seek Allah, He is there.

The people will not become righteous whilst you are corrupt.

For man, is two habits*** good and evil, and they are both contrary (to one another).

Verily the wrenched (one) to the wrenched (one), is a betrayer (i.e the blind lead the blind).

How many of hardships has there been after it ease.

O Dunya, O Dunya, O place of trials*** O place, O place of worries and grief

Every good is a result of a (sound) intellect***And every evil is the result of ignorance

they sound so much better in arabic :-[
