the fruits on apricot tress get diseased with something called brown spot. its a fungi, i think.
I know that you can get rid of them using pesticies, but i have not the foggiest idea on how to go about it and/or which pesticides to use.

and ideas?
 
It is caused by a fungus not a parasite. The fungus is spread by insects so the pesticides help reduce the spread. But for treatment of an infected tree you need a fungicide. Most fungicides are non toxic.

You will want to consult with a grower in your region as different areas are prone to different fungi and you want what is specific for your area.
