A Blueprint for Material and Spiritual Balance. With economic uncertainty and the breakdown of the social unit, do we really want to lead a financially and spiritually bankrupt life?

Assalaamo Alaikum!

You are invited to this unique event, where possible solutions to your life’s journey will be presented. All ticket proceeds will go to charity.

Includes 5 course meal.

Mecca represents the peak of the human spiritual journey. Wall Street represents the peak of the human material journey. Through this journey we need to ask some pertinent questions:

Who am I?
What is the purpose of my life?
Does my career weaken my religious identity?
Am I pretending to be someone that I am not?
Does being religious mean the end of having fun?
Can I be religious without being labelled an extremist?
Why don’t my elders understand me?

Hijaz Community invites you to a unique opportunity to:

Begin to enquire and question from your own perspective.
Take hints from the experience of others as to what is appropriate for you.
Analyse what you deem to be the gaps in your thinking and daily life.
Begin to make the appropriate changes.
Complete your spiritual journey having attained material balance.

What will speakers talk about?

The keynote speaker will focus on how to develop a material and spiritual balance within the context of leading a meaningful life.
Speakers from industry, commerce and the finance sector will share their experiences of how they are able to contribute to and promote corporate social responsibility and a balanced way of life.
Speakers from the civil service, public sector and the religious leadership will explain the concept of civic responsibility.

And to top it all!!! All the proceeds of the events from tickets will be donated to United in Care, a charity registered in the UK aiming to deal with the pressing needs of young people on the streets of Britain.
