An Arabian Knights production presents :

Futuristic wife

Three striving men were posed the question 'what are their thoughts of how their future wife should be?...

They share with us their velleities:

Abu-Ali
A humble attempt to lyrically describe, empirically scribe, a lady who I pray will one day be my bride:
if anything can move me, it's her eyes that if I gaze into them i can see into her soul,
then a smile that can work magic on the heart, soothing, granting solace, consoling,
followed by delicate hands, fingers that fit perfectly into the empty spaces between my own,
a lady with whom i'll feel like i can conquer the world, hand in hand by my side,
but her beauty is worth nothing if shes dead cold inside.
personality wise,
she should have a heart that reaches the skies,
a feminine female that has eyes for no other guys,
a mix of personality types, balance is what i desire,
bubbly shy intelligent, loving laughter,
serious focused religious, heart in the hereafter.
a romantic soul that complements my own,
united in harmony, always together, never alone.
but greater is that she stands patiently with me during life's trials,
calm devoted and loving, together we're crossing miles,
I know that each marriage has it's tests,
so I've reached the realization: the key to success,
lies in marrying a woman blessed.
perhaps i'll find her soon or I may have already met this person,
so dear people, a quick dua' for this brother please after you're done!

Haq-ul-Islam
I dream time and time again
of this sweet girl - my future best friend
cutest niqaabi - she'll be setting the trend
admired - desired like you cant comprehend
her beauty so clear but courted by no man
for she fears Allah and his laws she understands

every look towards her pleases my heart
like the most gracious gift from which i'll never part
in my absence she guards herself for me
in my pain, she gives comfort so gently
with her i share my deepest secrets
trusting she'll keep it safe and never reveal it

but most of all what i'll love so much
is to be near her - to feel her soft touch
and nothing will hurt me more
then to see her in pain... not knowing what for...
i'll comfort her.. as she'll comfort me..
right now.. the hardest thing.. is waiting for her patiently...

S-alahudeen
The key bodily ingredient for me is vitally the smile
so for my eyes to find rest it should take me excruciatingly awhile
teeth that are perfect in cubic shape that glisten under the sun like colourful bathroom tiles
and on that note i close the 'pulchritudinous' chapter
looks aside ... great personality is what im really after
an absolute vitality is a solid contentment to absolutely please me
love to us men is difficult to grasp so to show affection will she ever teach me?
or does she think im already equipped with compassion..im sure she's not stupid and wont be having that expectancy
i am not chatty myself so a gabby girl i don’t mind
they say opposites attract so im sure we will neatly bind-
on my off occasions would she stay calm...
would she heartbreakingly say get away and block her nose through the of use her palms
in other words when im smelling horrifyingly stale
would she be forgiving, sleep next to me and use her sweet melodious voice to sweetly warn me to wake up for salatul layl
thats my brief specification......to be honest
i may sound divided and undecided but hey! Out of us three im the youngest
if the above all
is too much..its okay I will make do without and stand tall
the only choice i have now is to carry on an awkward legacy
and practice celibacy.

Greetings and peace be with you all;

I only see one teensy weensy little problem with these dream futuristic wives, they will be looking for dream futuristic husbands, and do any exist?

:muslimah::Koran::beard:

In the spirit of searching for our nearly perfect partner.

When I read "futuristic wife", I imagined a robot wife. Then I read through the pages to see if anyone thought the same and it appears I am the only strange one. That said, I did enjoy the writings :)

Brother Eric H, InshaAllah(God Willing) I will strive to be the kind of man that would be able to take care of my wife not only in the worldly matters but also the matters that relate to the hereafter.

I'm sure the author meant well but...

there better be a good excuse for smelling horrifyingly stale. LOL. Our religion encourages all of us (men and women alike) to be clean and smell good. In a hadith, that I heard on TV from a scholar, the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم advised men to beautify themselves for their wives, saying that Allah loved beauty. Thus both men and women are encouraged in this religion to be appealing to their spouse. Marriage is supposed to bring tranquility and peace and not be a trouble. If some guy goes about smelling awful and still expects his wife to endure him and sleep next to him, he's only asking for trouble.

7 years on, I wonder if they found what they were looking for. Or maybe what they wanted isn't what was looking for them? Either way I make dua they're all happy and content! Ameen
