The (Muslim) author of the article in the below link below sets out some startling statistic showing failure of the Muslim world to achieve what the Jews and the ‘west’ have achieved suggesting as a possible reason that Muslims “could be powerless and backward in their thinking and approach to life, because they think this life is temporary and does not deserve their full attention”. Is he correct; are Muslims spending too much time and energy planning for the next life at a cost of failing to achieve in this life?
