What are the implications of farming, handling, processing or selling any food products containing pork?

Is this on par with alcohol?

Assalamu 'Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuh,

Welcome to the Forums :).

It is not permissible for you to do work which involves carrying pork and delivering it to the people who are going to eat it. Because by doing so you are taking part and cooperating in sin.

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning); "Help you one another in al-birr and al-taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression…"

[al-Maa’idah 5:2]

If it is possible, try talking to an 'Aalim/Scholar.

Pork is strictly prohibited in Islam. Therefore, dealing with any kind of stuffs related to Pork is also sin whether you are eating pork meat or helping others in any way to get it.So better save yourself and stay away from it.

It is not permissible at all to deal with pork, it is most definitely on par with alcohol in that Muslims should not raise pigs, transport them, slaughter them, sell them, buy them, or eat them - it is all sin.
