Hi there,

I'm a Christian and am interested in learning Islam and have promised myself to start reading the Quran from today, could any of you point me in the right direction on where to start, whether it be links, introduction videos on youtube, just so I have a starting point.

I am pleased that you want to learn more about Islam from its sources. Perhaps, we can help each other out as I myself am looking for some good Christian sources. At the moment I can think of one good website which includes commentary on the verses in the Quran to help you better understand its context.

If you want to read the Quran, most mosques would have English translations, or book shops.

Just remember the Quran is just that. Islam is how muslims understand the Quran.
