Got this in an email today, I've tried searching the following hadith in online hadith collections but cannot seem to find it. Can someone confirm whether it is authentic and post it's source.

The attachment is the hadith in Urdu but I have translated it in English below (please correct me if there is a mistake in translation):

------------------------------

The Prophet sallalahu alahi wasallam once said to Ali karamallahu wajhu:

O Ali, every night do these five things before you sleep:
  1. four thousand dinar sadaqa
  2. read entire Quran once
  3. pay the price of jannah
  4. make peace between two opponents
  5. one Hajj
Ali karamallahu wajhu replied Ya Rasoolullah sallalahu alahi wasallam, these things are impossible, I will not be able to do these. The Prophet sallalahu alahi wasallam said, read sura Fatiha four times and you will get sawab of four thousand dinar sadaqa. Read sura Ikhlas three times and you will get sawab equal to reading the entire Quran once. Read darood three times and you will pay the price of jannah. Read Astaghfar ten times and you will get sawab equal to making peace between two opponents. Read the third kalima four times and you will get sawab equal to one hajj.

Ali karamallahu wajhu then said Ya Rasoolullah sallalahu alahi wasallam I will read these every night before going to sleep.

I know about other Hadits from 'Ali bin Abi Thalib Radhiyallahu 'anhu narrated by Imam Ibn Taimiyyah Radhiyallahu 'anhu in Shahih Kalimuth Thayyib, takhrij by syaikh Abu Abdur Rahman Nashir Al Albaani, about reciting Subhaanallah 33x, Alhamdulillah 33x and Allahu akbar 34x before sleeping. Rasulullah 'alaihi Shalawatullahi wa Salaam said that to recite it before sleeping, is better than having a housekeeper.

Which is right, is only about reading Al Ikhlash 3 times, but the meaning of Al Ikhlash is one third of Al Qur'an is that it summarises the one third of Al Qur'an. Because it was narrated on Shahih Tirmidzi, takhrij by syaikh Abu Abdurrahman Nashir Al Albaani, that Al Ikhlash is one third of Al Qur'an, that Al Zalzalah is a quarter of Al Qur'an,and that Al Kafirun is a quarter of Al Qur'an.
That's because those 3 summarise almost whole of Al Qur'an.

Assalamu'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh.

I am pretty sure there is a hadith where this is a tasbeeh which was given to Hazrat Fatiam RA by Muhammad SAW.

Thats why its called tasbeeh Fatima

The Hadith is certainly a false one (is classified as Mawdo3)according to the scholars of the science of Hadith....

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“O ‘Ali, do not sleep until you have done five things, which are: reading the entire Qur’aan, giving four thousand dirhams in charity, preserving your place in Paradise and placating your opponent.”
‘Ali said: “And how could I do that, O Messenger of Allaah?”
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do you not know, O ‘Ali, that if you recite Qul huwa Allaahu ahad (i.e., Soorat al-Ikhlaas) three times, it is as if you have recited the entire Qur’aan? And that if you recite Soorat al-Faatihah four times it is as if you have given f our thousand dirhams in charity? And that if you say Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd yuhyi wa yameet wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer (There is no god but Allaah alone with no partner or associate.
His is the Dominion and to Him be praise, He gives life and death and He is able to do all things) ten times, you will preserve your place in Paradise? And if you say Astaghfir-Allaah alladhi laa ilaaha illa huwa al-hayy al-qayyoom wa atoobu ilayh (I seek the forgiveness of Allaah beside Whom there is no other god, the Ever-Living, the Eternal, and I repent to Him) ten times you will have placated your opponent.”
Then they concluded by saying:
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) indeed has spoken the truth.
Is this hadeeth saheeh?.

Praise be to Allaah

This hadeeth is false and fabricated (mawdoo’).

The scholars of the Standing Committee said concerning this hadeeth:

This hadeeth has no basis, rather it is one of the fabricated reports and lies made up by some of the Shi’ah, as has been pointed out by the imams of hadeeth.

Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 4/462, 463.

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked about this and he said:

This hadeeth which says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave this advice to ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allaah be pleased with him) is a lie that was fabricated against the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). It is not correct to attribute it to the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), because “whoever narrates a hadeeth from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) which he thinks is false is himself one of the liars,” and “whoever tells lies about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” But if it is mentioned in order to explain that it is fabricated and to warn people against it, this is something which will be rewarded. The point is that this hadeeth is a lie against the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and against ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib.

Fataawa Islamiyyah, 4/111

And Allaah knows best.
