No doubt back pain is a common thing humans from time to time suffer

some tips may be helpful for the pain whatever the causes for such pain:

1-avoid sitting ,standing, driving ,for a long time or sitting in a bad way eg;the back not straight.

2-when you wake up do it gradually as the back likes slow movement while getting up.

3-avoid carrying heavy weight, and make your legs as much apart as you while standing or lifting something.

4-avoid big pillows while sleeping and recommended sleeping without a pillow under head (as I always do when sleeping).

5-keep your body warm, and your back hot while sleeping.

6- much weight(especially the abdomen) is important factor in back pain too.

7-Use a shoes that not high nor such kind which have the front narrow.

8-The position of relaxing your back on bed and legs up against a wall or something ,gives a feeling of comfort.

9-It is proved that being nervous may double the back pain so relax.

10-Praying is very important to relax your muscles including the back.
May Allah recover you.

Awh sis:( Insh'Allah you feel better soon...

If you are not sure whether it is an infection or not, maybe wait for the results?

once, through a sport, I strained my back realll bad(and didn't know it until the next day!) I could barely walk...it was horrible, so i know how you feel.

Honestly, what helped me was hot water. Whether you are using a bottle water bag(is that the name?) or simply take a hot bath, it really, really helped.

Feel better soon:)

**Oh, I just read the post you've written a minute before mine! Haha! insh'Allah the heat wrap will help!

In Pakistan (where I come from) people say sleeping on a hard surface helps stop back pains. Maybe you can try that?

:sl: My father had an accident in 2005 causing him a heap of back pain and he went to a massage specialist to cure it and within days his back was fixed. But first I recommend you to strech your back daily and take hot baths. Also there is a medicine where you rub it and your pain goes away (not instantly but few days).

I would still recommend to see a massage therapist as it could only go for a temporary time and will come back when you pick something heavy up that might damage your spine and your back to fully be capable to bend down.
