Inter-Qabeelah Qira’a ILMination LIVE!

AlMaghrib Institute will be having their very first inter-qabeelah qira’a competition (referred to as an “ILMination” in AlMaghrib lingo). It will feature the best of the best from the various AlMaghrib qabaa’il. The judges include some of AlMaghrib’s own instructors: AbdurRahman Al-Hejazy, Mohammed Faqih, Waleed Basyouni and Yasir Qadhi. To top off all the excitement, the winner of the ILMination will receive a prize of $1000! Don’t miss this awesome event!

MashaAllah they all sounded good. The last guy who wasn't a contestant but went anyways did really good too. Every time I hear these I always put myself down for not learning Arabic when I was younger. Thanks for posting this :peace:

Masha'Allaah though some very beautiful recitations, very calming. :)
 
no it's over now though, there will be another one next week with the UK'ers inshallah, on the 25th at 9 GMT time, 5:30 Eastern time...

Yanal: just go to the ilmination.com site and it will be on next week inshallah :)
