about Jesus/Isa ibn Marrian, Alayhe Salaam, they really don't care what language it is in.
anywho and anyhow, i would actual recommend a Parallel bible with multiple translation, such as this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Contemporary-P.../dp/0195281365
it has the King James, the NIV and the NASB as well some reall modern ones.
something like this would be even better:
http://www.amazon.com/Eight-Translat...ref=pd_sim_b_2
it has King James 1611, Living, J.B. Phillips, RSV, Good News, NIV, Jerusalem Bible, New English Bible
and then maybe one study bible like the Zondervan NIV Study Bible:
http://www.amazon.com/Zondervan-Stud...7519569&sr=1-4
[iirc, it also come in NASB and MAYBE NKJ (New King James)]
something like this can be really helpful:
http://www.amazon.com/New-Strongs-Ex...ref=pd_sim_b_3
The New Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible: Classic Edition, you can look up any word in the bible and it will show you all of the places that it appears in the Bible [i have one for the Shakir Translation of the Qur'an!]
they also have Greek English Translations.
i hope this helps!
