No. During the life of the Mahdi, Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) will return and apply the law revealed to Allah's final Messenger. There will be no disbelievers on earth during his reign, only Muslims - since he will abolish Jizyah [because Prophet Muhammad said that he would do so in the ahadith.]

I read that when Isa and the Mahdi will conquer the world, they will bring peace between true Muslims and Christians, or bring them together.
