Islamic Compass for my iPhone

What's a Islamic compass? :X

If you're worried about qibla direction you can take a prayer mat with a compass stuck on it :D but I heard it's a salah distraction..:exhausted

This app is only for the iPhone 3GS which has a built in compass. No other iphone/touch will be compatible with this app.
 
thanks so much, I was about to make a purchase it is $1.99 but I found other free application.. bummer I really wish they'd make one for the Itouch too, since I don't plan to switch my phone carrier any time soon imsad

Ya but I dont think it would be possible to make a qibla app like this one for the itouch or older iphones because there is no built-in compass in the device. But I got an older iphone and I have an app called iPray pro on there, that gives you all the salah times and it gives you the qibla direction according to the sun pretty accurately. They make iQuran pro too, thats another really good program.
 
would the Iquran work on my itouch? if it does would you mind pasting the link here pls.. is the sun compass as good.. I travel quite a bit and I have one of those pocket compasses with a booklet but it is a pain..

The sun compass thing works fine but only when the suns out so thats just zuhr and asr salah, it cant do anything for maghrib, isha, and fajr. It has times tho. iquranpro is more expensive than iquran but it has shuraim, ghamdi, efasy, basit and more translations. the regular version just has one reciter and one translation.

This one is good too it has the popular 15 line standard mushaf of entire quran 1$

Yes, it works for all iPhone devices...
but the rotation compass will only work at the 3Gs version. They are working on new features and will release updates for all buyers. They reply very fast on questions which gives me a big +. I do not like the dead appications which have ghost companies behind them.

I have to say it looks and works really good! Works for Google Android as well I saw. Nokia and Windows mobile will come shortly they expect.
 
iphone isn't itouch, if you or BigfatG work for the company.. pls let them know that the itouch owners would like this application as well

we dont need the big fats :D download the ipray application it has a free qibla compass in there, and must i say its quite accurate, plus the application tells you prayer times

bet the compass people didnt want you to know that:-[

Oje, the Prayer Times are in Islamic Compass as well! :p
And its much much MUCH cheaper!! Athan and push notifications will come shortly.
