When you break your fast this evening -
please pray for those who are still thirsty...

Did you know...?

Children in rural Malawi walk about 3km each morning to fetch
dirty water for their families to drink, cook, and wash.

Dirty water kills 5 million people a year. That´s why
we’re asking you to give the gift of clean water

Greetings and peace be with you T.I.A,

Thanks for starting this thread, here is some information about the use of water from a charity that I support. Can you imagine a child carrying 6 gallons of water for three kilometres every day, yet that is the amount for a family to marginally survive.

1 gallon per day of Water Available Means That 1 Person is Barely Able to Survive

6 gallons per day, is enough for one Family to Marginally Complete Tasks that Ensure Health and Sanitation

13 gallons per day means one Family Can Clean Clothes On-Site Near Home and Have Fresh Water Available in Proximity to Living Quarters

26 - 50 gallons per day equals Ample Water for Daily Needs; Shielded from Hygiene-Related Illness

In the UK we use an average of around 160 litres per day, in the USA, they use around 600 litres per day.

In the spirit of praying for justice for all people

Eric

Ironically, many rich muslims never care of this.
They spend a lot of money for buy luxury foods for iftar and forget to the reality, many people don't have any food or even don't have water for iftar.

Don't we know ?, iftar is not a celebration of success in today fasting, because the real success of fasting if we can feel the hungry and thirsty of poor people who don't have anything.

So, if you have much money, don't buy a luxury food for iftar but donate your money for help them. Insha Allah, every little drop of water that you give for them would becomes your sweet drink in Jannah.

I really liked and appreciate the step taking towards helping those children.I would really like to make a donation and also encourage my other friends to do the same.

...bUmP...

Even though ramadan is finished, please do donate. These people still need our help...and sadaqah helps in this world and the Aakhirah...
