I have many CATS in my home, I am wondering if these are permitted in the Islam. I really like my little cats and I know dogs are forbidden I just hope cats are not!

nothing wrong with cats as long as you keep them clean.

Famous incident- the prophet (pbuh) saw many of the cats of medina following abu huriarah (ra) and the prophet found it very amusing hence gave him the nick name abu hurairah - father of cats/ kittens
