Salaam,

I have found it difficult to find clear guidance on the procedure to pray qaza salat, when it can be done (i.e. I understand there are certain times it cannot be prayed?), and how. I would be grateful if brothers could help clarify please.

If you could cover the below it would be even more helpful:

1) Can qaza salat be prayed at any time of the day or with one of the 5 daily prayers?
2) Are there any times when it cannot be prayed?
3) If more than one salat has been missed, can all missed salat farz be combined together or must they all be prayed seperately with seperate niyat?

Ofcourse, I intend to pray all salat on time whenever possible.

Thanks.

Qadha prayers can be prayed at any time during the day or night except at three times:

When the sun rises up (until it is above the horizon by the length of a spear, about twenty minutes after sun rise), when the sun is at its zenith until it begins to move, and when the sun turns red until it sets (about twenty minutes to half an hour before sun set. (taken directly from that link :P)

As far as I know, each missed prayer must be rectified separately with separate niyyah. Don't take my word for it though. Only Allah(swt) knows best.

Do you have to preform Qaza salah regularly or is it just because you missed your Salat ones or so?

I know. I asked if he always prayes Qaza prayer, because if he does it isn't good. Allah says we pray on time.

I asked him if he always has to pray Qaza prayer so he tells us the reason why. Maybe he has to go to work. If so, he could maybe find alternatives to pray on time.

Thanks :statisfie
