Insha'Allah this thread will be used to remind us all when salat time is upon us. I'd recommend all members to participate, as there is reward to be gained if someone is reminded through your post. Please follow the following format and also it'd be nice to post a short ayah from the Qur'an or a hadith with regards to the importance and virtues of Prayer.

Salat: Dhuhr

Location: UK

Time: Roughly 1:30pm in most masaajid.
“Establish prayer, for verily prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds. And the remembrance of Allah is the greatest thing.” [Sûrah al-`Ankabût: 45]

Salat: Asr

Location: UK

Time: Roughly 4:30pm for Shafi'ee, Maaliki and Hanbali. Roughly 6:00pm for Hanafis.

"And be steadfast in prayer; give Zakat; and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship)." (Sura Al-Baqarah, ayah # 43)

and our fajr is usually near 6am :)
