Salam.

Claimed to be Einstein's Golden Riddle:-

There are five houses next to each other on a street, painted five different colors. A person of different nationality lives in each house. The five home owners each drink a different beverage, smoke a different brand of cigar and keep a different pet.

The Question is : Who owns the fish?

Clues given:

1. The British man lives in a red house.
2. The Swedish man keeps dogs as pets.
3. The Danish man drinks tea.
4. The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house.
5. The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the center house drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15. The Blends smoker lives next to the one who drinks water.

The Mathematical Solution:

It's not a riddle..but a Mathematical Puzzle. 6 unknowns x 5 = 30 answers. I've decoded those 15 hints and decode 15 Linear Equations + 6 non-equals:

B * S * D * N *G ...(i)
c * d * h * f * b' ...(ii)
d' * p * α * β * p' ..(iii)
w° * r * b * g * y ..(iv)
t * c' * m * w' * ε ..(v)
1 * 2 * 3 * 4 * 5 ....(vi)

B = r ......(1)
S = d .....(2)
D = t .....(3)
g <> w°.....(4)
g = c' .......(5)
p = b' .......(6)
y = d' .......(7)
m = 3 .......(8)
N = 1 ........(9)
α <> c <> α..(10) { Einstein broke the Law of Math.
h <> d'<> h..(11) { broke it again.
β = ε ...............(12)
G = p' ..............(13)
b <> N <> b ......(14) {broke it again.
w' <> α <> w' ...(15) {Einstein broke it for the 4th. time!

Derivative Equations:

From (9) & (14): N = 1 <> b ......(16) by 'faking' (14).

From (4) & (5): g = c' <> w° ......(17)

From (8), (16) & (17): N = 1 <> b <> m =3 <> g = c' <> w° .....(18)

From (7), (11) & (18): y = d' <> h ..........(19) By 'faking' (11)

From (iv), (18) & (19): y = d' = N = 1 <> b = h <> m = 3 = r <> g = c' <> w° ........(20)

From (1), (vi), (15) & (20): w' = y = d' = N = 1 <> 2 = b = h = α <> m = 3 = r = B <> 4 = g =c' <> w° = 5 .........(21) by 'faking' (15)

From (iii), (v), (3), (12) & 21: w' = y = d' = N = 1 <> 2 = b = h = α = t = D <> m = 3 = r = B <> 4 = g =c' <> w° = 5 = β = ε ........(22)

From (iii), (13) & (22): w' = y = d' = N = 1 <> 2 = b = h = α = t = D <> m = 3 = r = B <> 4 = g = c' = G = p' <> w° = 5 = β = ε = S = d ......(23)

From (ii), (6) & (23): w' = y = d' = N = 1 <> 2 = b = h = α = t = D <> m = 3 = r = B = p = b' <> 4 = g = c' = G = p' <> w° = 5 = β = ε = S = d ......(24)

and finally by 'faking' (10):

From (10) dan (24): Notice that α <> c <> α being replaced by c <> α

c = w' = y = d' = N = 1 <> 2 = b = h = α = t = D <> m = 3 = r = B = p = b' <> f = 4 = g = c' = G = p' <> w° = 5 = β = ε = S = d ......(25) COMPLETE & FINAL ANSWERS after decoding from below,

Where, assuming:-

B = BRITISH
S = SWEDISH
D = DANISH
N = NORWEGIAN
G = GERMAN

w° = White House
r = Red House
b = Blue House
g = Green House
y = Yellow House

1 = 1st. House
2 = 2nd. House
3 = House in the Middle
4 = 4th. House
5 = The Last House

c = cats
d = dogs
h = horses
f = fish
b' = birds

d' = Dunhill
p = Pall Mall
α = Blends
β = Blue Master
p' = Prince

t = tea
c' = coffee
m = milk
w' = water
ε = beer

As per Equation (25) I got all the 30 answers right (include GERMAN=Fish) and also proved that Einstein made a felony (4 non-mathematical equations & 4 fakes) by breaking the Law of Mathematics.

My question is: Did Einstein Broke The Law of Mathematics?

*** Recovers from a mathematical shock. Still feeling weakness :skeleton:***

This is serious question, Right?:p

If so then it will do good in Education issues sections.

PS: Pls forgive me I have been very bad on Maths. :hiding:

i prefer to solve it through logics and deduction.
Mathematics just give me headache. I need aspirin now.

That's quite impressive, however, I do not know the answer :(.

:hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm:
however, following pure logic and common sense, i refuse to believe that Einstien broke any laws, well even if he did, what he did was correct too, he must have created some new law doing so then. :><:
