View Full Version : Loving myself

I am having some issues with myself, problems of not loving myself. Right now I am pregnant with my second child and feeling very uncertain about myself. I feel I have no friends to connect with, and im always trying to find that external approval from other people, even my mom. I've looked for therapist, support groups, and psychologists in my city that could help but have found none that are nearby. Im not sure what else I can do. Its hard trying to change bad habits towards myself and often feel lonely because I have no friends to communicate with.
Anyone have any advice or support they can lend? Thanks:hmm:

:sl:this is probably going to be the most stupid advice you ever heard but do you think it could be your hormones because your pregnant and thats why your feeling the blues about yourself? it might be that there is not many other mothers that your not socialising with either whom you could connect withReply

Sis Cat's may be right if what you're feeling is only experienced during pregnancy. If you feel like that in general, then you are welcome to talk to me in pvt if you wish. I also advise you to talk to your healthcare worker/midwife. They are aware that you're physical and mental well-being can affect your pregnancy and will offer lots of support and fast track you to the right professionals inshaAllah. May Allah's Mercy and Healing be with you. Ameen :)
