I am a trainee teacher, researching opinions about the place of philosophy in education, and I want to know how different sections of the population think on this issue. Obviously it would be good to dicuss the issue on this forum too. It is my opinion that we need to give philosophy a more central place in the educational curriculum, so that young people are better able to comprehend the modern world.
Any ideas?
