I assume every language, countries or culture have different proverbs (sayings) so lets share proverbs from your background.

I will start, I translated it from my language to English and you can tell me what you understood from it.
Background: Somali
Some Proverbs:

1."A man who has eaten something becomes shy."

2."These youth taught their mother to give birth."

3."One refusing a sibling's advice breaks his arm."

4."Men for tea, women for talk."

5.To be without a friend is to be poor indeed.

*Make a man a fire, he will be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Nice proverbs but very simple, do you know different proverbs that is hard to understand?
