REVIVE A SUNNAH ⇨ "Do Not Be Trapped in the "IF" Thoughts"✦
Abu Huraira (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) reported that Allah's Messenger (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) as saying:
A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say:
IF I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" IF" opens the (gate) for the Satan.

Khālid al-Absi said, "A son of mine died and I felt intense grief over his loss. I said, 'Abū Hurayrah, have you heard anything from the Prophet (ﷺ) to cheer us regarding our deceased?'
He replied,
'I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say, 'Your children are roaming freely in the Garden.'" [Adab al Mufrad]
As always the word of the Prophet ﷺ brings comfort to the distressed hearts :'|
May the families of the deceased be given divinely inspired strength & sabr during this difficult time. May the people who were killed receive the loftiest reward with their Lord and be reunited with their families therein.
Alhamdulillah for the Great Eternal Reunion.

This is something powerful that i've implemented in my life.
What if's, could have done, should have done is something of the past. I used to dwell in these time wasting thoughts but not anymore Alhamdulilah. I think am just more mindful of my thoughts as thoughts soon turn into action...

"And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? " (Qur'an, 54:17)
Since none of us want to be misguided, it is paramount not only to read or recite Quran, but to understand and implement it in our lives as well.

REMINDER: Do Not Broadcast Your Sins! ●
There are some people, whenever they did an act of Sin, they rush to post on social networks so that everyone knows about it. Instead of hiding and feeling guilty about that act of Sin, they feel proud to tell others about it.
By this they are earning 3 losses:
1. It’s a Sin upon Sin, firstly by doing the sin and secondly by broadcasting it.
2. They are making people as witness of their Sin and encouraging to do the same sin.
3. They are removing themselves far away from the forgiveness of Allah by broadcasting the sin instead of concealing it.
Ibn Qayyim said:
"The one who commits sin in secret is doing something less serious than one who commits sin openly and broadcasts it. The one who keeps quiet about it commits a less serious sin than one who tells people about it. Such a one is far removed from the forgiveness of Allaah, as the Prophet PBUH said: “All of my ummah may be forgiven except those who commit sin openly…” [Ighaathat al-Lahfaan, 2/147]
Speaking about your sin and flaunting it openly in front of your friends is haraam, and is a major sin. It is one of the ways of spreading immorality among the Muslims, encouraging evil and tempting others to do similar things. It also means that one does not take sin seriously and regards it as insignificant, and that the sinner is damaging his own reputation and exposing his honour to the slander of others. Islam seeks to put people off from doing such things in the strongest possible terms, as in the following hadeeth:
Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say:
“All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who sin openly. It is a part of sinning openly when a man does something at night, then the following morning when Allaah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So and so, I did such and such last night,’ when all night his Lord has concealed him and the next morning he uncovers what Allaah had concealed.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5721; Muslim, 2990).

Lets Learn Islam
Today Muslim sisters put their pics on
#FB, wedding videos showing them dancing in immodest poses
Yet the daughter of our Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) Fatimah (radiallahu anha) was so modest with her hijaab that she requested her husband Ali (radiallahu anha) to bury her at night if she died during the day... She said:
"When you BURY ME COVER ME properly, I don't want ANYONE to see anything of me, and bury me during the night for I am embarrassed from the multitude of people attending."
SubhaanAllah look at her modesty, look at her hijab, EVEN IN DEATH she didn't want to be recognized, she didn't want anyone to see her and yet what are our Muslim sisters doing today??

A young man dies, and his friends build a masjid for him (as sadaqah).
A young woman dies, and her friends dig a well for her. A third dies and his friends put up water tanks for him, and another dies and one of her friends will give in charity for months on her behalf. And yet another will wake up in the depth of night, asking Allah to forgive her friend who has passed away. These are the fruits of having righteous companions! Be aware of your friends, for a person is on the religion of his friend.

A SHAYKH HAS TO CAREFULLY UNDERSTAND THE CASE BEFORE GIVING A VERDICT!
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Shurayh:
لِسَانُكَ عَبْدُكَ مَا لَمْ تَتَكَلَّمْ ، فَإِذَا تَكَلَّمْتَ فَأَنْتَ عَبْدُهُ ، فَانْظُرْ مَا تَقْضِي ، وَفِيمَ تَقْضِي ، وَكَيْفَ تَقْضِي ، وَفِيمَ تَمْضِي ، وَإِلَيْهِ تَقْضِي
Your tongue is under your control as long as you do not speak, but once you speak you are bound by what you say. So think about what your verdict is, and the BASIS for your verdict, and how to work out your verdict.

The best of Muslims are those who fought at Badr, as we know from a Hadith.
Uthman, Ibn Umar and Salman did not take part in the battle of Badr, yet they are of the greatest of Muslims.
In other words, focus less on the acts, take care of your heart. Allah Azza Wa Jall looks at the heart. He sees it full with love for Him, He sees it dedicated to Him, He sees it moving towards Him; then He shall not send you away, but He shall give you all you want.
Everyone knows how love is pleasurable. Then make the effort to make Allah Azza Wa Jall feel such pleasure. It's entirely up to you. He will show you He is more loving than you, and you will be happy in both worlds. Love Allah Azza Wa Jall by loving His beloved, Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). Honor him. The Companions never called him by his name, but they would say "O Messenger of Allah", peace and blessings be upon him and his family, as many times as the number of people since his time until the Day of Judgment.

Christians came to debate King Harun Ar Rashid. King Harun Ar Rashid asked Al Shafi, who was a boy at that time to debate them. Al Shafi threw his prayer rug on the river, and standing on it told the Christians: "come here and we'll debate".
Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) once prayed for rain; no sooner did he put down his hands that clouds gathered and it was raining for a week (see Bukhari).
Umar once sent a letter to the Nile, and when the Nile received it, it started to flow again.
Ibrahim Adham once woke up, in his palace, which roof was transparent, to find a man over his roof walking. The man asked Ibrahim Adham if he saw his camel. Ibrahim Adham was surprised asking him how could he be looking for his camel on a roof. Then the man told him, more or less:
"there is more chance for me to find my camel on this roof than for you to find God in the midst of this luxurious lifestyle".
Then Ibrahim Adham gave up his kingdom, went away from it and repented.
Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) said the Muslims will split into 73 factions, and only one will be saved.
This is enough admonition.

Have breakfast on Eid-al-Fitr before leaving for prayer ground. On Eid-al-Adha, eat breakfast after Salaat or after sacrifice if you are doing a sacrifice.
Pay Zakaat-al-Fitr before Salaat-al-Eid (on Eid-al-Fitr).
Go to prayer ground early.
Offer Salaat-al-Eid in congregation in an open place except when whether is not permitting like rain, snow, etc.
Use two separate route to and from the prayer ground.
Recite the following Takbir on the way to Salaat and until the beginning of Salaat-al-Eid. On Eid-al-Adha, Takbir starts from Mughrib on the 9th Zdilhijjah and last until the Asr on the 12th Zdilhijjah: Allaho-Akber, Allaho-Akber. La ila-ha ill-lal-lah. Allaho-Akber, Allaho-Akber. Wa-lilahill hamd. (Allah is greater, Allah is greater. There is no god but Allah. Allah is greater, Allah is greater. And all praises are for Allah).

It's Sunnah to fast
#Ayyam_al_Beed (13,14,15 of a Lunar / Arabic month).
This month (Shawwal), it corresponds to July 30, 31 and August 1 coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Bangladesh.
.
“It is sufficient for you to fast three days every month, because for every good deed you will have (the reward of) ten like it, so that will be like fasting for a lifetime.”
Bukhaari (1874); Muslim (1159).
“If you fast any part of the month, then fast the 13th, 14th and 15th.”
Tirmidhi (761); Nasaa’i (2424).

Assalamu-Alaikum and Greetings !
Ashura of Muharram
With Ashura at our doorsteps, this is a reminder for you to fast the two days of Ashura on the 9th and 10th of Muharram (or 10th and 11th of Muharram 1437 AH). Per Makkah calendar, 10th of Muharram corresponds to
24th October, 2015.
Another point to note for the month of Muharram is the authentic hadith by the prophet mentioned in Sahih Muslim (hadith # 1163) where he (s.a.w.s.) says,
"The best fasting after Ramadan is the month of Allaah Muharram, and the best prayer after the obligatory prayer is prayer at night."
|
Do let others know about this so they, too, can fast on the two days of Muharram as instructed to us by our prophet (sa.w.s.) |

Dua after reciting the Quran.
The Quran is a blessed book given by Allah, the benefits of reading and acting on it are too many to list.
'It has been authentically narrated that peace and tranquility descend on the one who recites the Quran, as do the angels. Therefore, after reciting any portion of the Quran, we are encouraged to make a dua, as it is more likely to be responded to.'
[Reference: Bakr abu Zayd, Tas-hih al-Dua, p.33]

Random contemplation:
A person can outwardly appear to be religious – have the long beard, wear the thawbs etc, follow a spiritual path or tradition, talk the talk, but the acid test of his or her spiritual or adabic fitness is the way he/she deals with others. If you exhibit bad manners in your speech and behavior within a challenging environment you have failed your spiritual and adabic path on a massive scale. I have seen it too many times. Even ‘scholars’ are not immune from it. That is why the best approach is not to claim something on this level. Keep your spiritual journey private. Unfortunately, we have too many celebratory spiritual seekers.
Allah protect us and conceal our shortcomings.

Never confuse the Khawarij (rebels) for true Muslims.
They are people who pray, fast and read Quran but in fact exit Islam due to their extremism and violence. They will kill innocent people under the banner of Islam, yet they are the furthest of people from Islam.
The Prophet called them the Dogs of Fire and said they are the worst of creation.

Please note that out beautiful Prophet, Sayidena Muhammad ﷺ had a wonderful sense of humour.
His companions felt an easing and relaxation in their hearts, and experienced breathtaking joy and delight when around Him.
The great companion, Imam Ali, may Allah be pleased with Him said:
"His smiling face and kind behavior to everyone made him literally a father to the people. Everyone was equal in his sight and presence".

A man asked Shaykh Muhammad Al-Ghazali, "What is the ruling of a person who doesn't pray?"
He said, "The ruling is that you take him with you to the Masjid"
Be an adviser before being a judge.

"Seek happiness in one of three things:
✓ in the recitation of the Qur’an,

Allah says in the Qur’an,
“Establish prayer at the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night and recite the Qur’an at Fajr. Indeed, the recitation of Fajr is ever witnessed.” [6]
Who is it witnessed by? The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) recited this verse, ‘
And recite the Qur’an during the Fajr. Verily, the recitation of the Qur’an during Fajr is ever witnessed.’ And said, “
It is witnessed by the angels of the night and the day.” [7] Out of all the 5 obligatory prayers, our prophet made the Fajr prayer the longest because he knew of this amazing virtue. It was reported that he would recite between 60 to 100 verses just in the Fardh of Fajr prayer![8]

No matter what name we have, at the end we will be called MAYYET.
Whatever luxurious vehicles we drive today, in the end we will be taken as JANAZA.
No matter what house we stay in today, In the end we have to lie in the QABAR.
Whatever clothes we wear today, in the end we will be wearing the KAFAN.
No matter how far we travel in this world, in the end we have to fly off with a common Visa :
Kullu nafsin za ikathul maut..
(meaning : Every soul shall have a taste of death .......)

Yeah so true. We don't even know what we are truly like. And it's possible a person will be good and even think they are but with time their true nature takes over. And this is something the people of the past were always afraid of. So we must always make dua that Allah keeps us steadfast. And beware of the evil of our inner souls. May Allah protect us from it and keep us steadfast and sincere. Ameen

Do you need rest?
Sigh to Allah and shed for Him a few tears in privacy.
Then, raise your head from the ground and just see how you feel.

Know that the path to Allah is not a flat one. Your iman (faith) will go up and down. Your ability to worship will go up and down. But, know that for every dip, there is also a rise. Just stay patient, stay consistent, don’t lose hope and seek help in Allah. The path is hard. The path will have bumps and drops. But, like all things in this life, this path will come to an end. And that end will make it all worth it!
