Searching for links

is there some way we can look for links that are contained within a particular thread...or links a particular user has ever posted...
if you go to the search function it has options to search visitor messages, posts, etc under the title "Search Type." is it possible to add "links" to those options as-well.

and another thing, why does it in my profile have my user name history? i dont see that anyone else has this???
