I just received this through email (From Shiekh Muhammad al-Shareef). it may look familiar to some of you, but i thought it would be a great reminder for us all.

In the last 10 nights of Ramadan, there is so much time to make dua -
but many people don't know what to ask for.

So here's a tip to take massive advantage of this blessed time:
-- Make a list of 50 things (or as many as you want) that you desire
from this world and the next.

Then, take that list with you, and use it as a reminder when you raise
your hands to Allah to ask Him.

With best wishes to see you succeed in Ramadan at the highest level!
- Muhammad Alshareef
one of the reasons i thought this was important to post, was to give some ideas of who we should be making dua for. so here are some ideas (feel free to post your own).

-Our parents

-Our family/siblings

-Muslim Prisoners

-Our brothers and sisters in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Filasteen (aka Palestine, depending where you are from) as well as those who defend their honor (Muslim). make dua that our brothers and sisters and their children are safe and remain steadfast in their situation.

-Our brothers and sisters in Baagistan (aka Pakistan/bakistan, again depending where you're from).

-Ourselves

-and me (and my sisters) :hiding:.

here's another one which i should've posted yesterday.

What if Laylatul-Qadr was last night or tonight?

It's been my experience, I don't know if you've noticed it as well,
that when the last ten nights start, many people are slow to realize
it. Masjid Taraweeh attendance doesn't normally pick up until the
24th of Ramadan (or later).

A reminder for you and I: WHAT IF!!! Laylatul Qadr was last night or
tonight? Will we be ready? I want to take advantage of every night of
the last ten nights! It's too precious - the reward of 1000 months is
too great!
And I wish the same for you.

With best wishes to see you succeed in Ramadan at the highest level!

The last ten nights of Ramadan is a major time to ask forgiveness.

Hadith Qudsi, Allah said:
O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall
forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.
O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were
you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you.
O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the
earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I
would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it.

im going to be a nag and ask to please keep me in your duas.
ask this: to make my end sealed with good and to make me steadfast at the time of my questioning (in the grave). and for Allah to make a way out of my hardship/s. (same for my sisters as well, please).

This topic title reminds of the day of Arafat.

You wonder what you are going to do from Zuhr till Magrib and how can you make dua for that long...

Walahi there is something really amazing there and once you open your heart and beg and beg the time runs away and you find yourself wishing you had longer.
