The quraan is for mankind right? So why does Allah(swt) say in soore Rahman
"And which blessings of your lord, you bot (jinn and men) deny"
Does that mean Jinn also had a series of Ambiyaa' and they also had Divine books?:?

The Prophet :saws: was sent as a Messenger to both Jinns and humans.

Read story of the Prophet :saws: reciting Qur'an to them. I'd post it, but I'm in a rush.

I'm sure someone'll explain better.

Thought it was 1 question!!

The jinn are among the creatures that ALLAH(SWT) created. ALLAH(SWT) created angels, jinn, mankind, animals, plants and others. Jinn have some qualities like human beings. These qualities are intellect, discrimination, freedom, and the power to choose between right and wrong, between true and false, as well as between good and bad. Jinns are also created to worship ALLAH(SWT).

And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
Surat Adh-Dhāriyāt (The Winnowing Winds) - (51:56) - سورة الذاريات

ALLAH(SWT) has sent Prophets and Messengers to jinn from within the jinn community. Also, ALLAH(SWT) sent Prophet Muhammad(SAW) to mankind, to jinn, and to other creatures.

"O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers. Surat Al-'An`ām (The Cattle)- (6:130) - سورة الأنعام

Not sure about Devine books but ALLAH(SWT) informs us that some jinn accepted Islam, while others refused. Those who refused have deviated, and developed for themselves different methods, different ways of life, and different religions, sects and denominations. For more read Surah Al-Jinn (72)

However......

Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants." Surat Al-'Isrā' (The Night Journey) - (17:88) - سورة الإسراء

Disbelieving Jinns like humans will go to Hell.

And if we had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together. Surat As-Sajdah (The Prostration) - (31:13) - سورة السجدة

And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.
Surat Al-'A`rāf (The Heights) - (7:179) - سورة الأعراف

And ALLAH(SWT) knows best.

Don't mean to sound rude but you shouldn't question WHY. Qur'an is perfect.

Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah , they would have found within it much contradiction.Surat An-Nisā' (The Women) - (4:82) - سورة النساء

Speak to an imam/scholar to clear any doubts you have.

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah , if you should be truthful.
Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) - (2:23) - سورة البقرة

But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) - (2:24) - سورة البقرة

Asalaam O alaikum...

Good question...

The Quran was sent is 1st adressing mankind and then Jinns, the reason ? Because Mankind has been chosen to be a representative of Allah (swt) on earth... and not Jinns. Humans are chosen by Allah (swt) as being the Khalifa...

(2:30) Just recall the time when your Lord said to the angels , "I am going to appoint a vicegerent on the Earth."

So it was us, who were chosen to represent Allah (swt) on Earth, and it was us for whom the Earth and everything in it is made subservient...

(67:15) He it is Who made the earth subservient to you. So traverse in its tracks and partake of the sustenance He has provided. To Him will you be resurrected.

So it is us to whom this big responsibility is given, and we would be answerable on the day of Judgment as to how , each one of us , whatever authority we held in this world, how did we excercise it.

And so The Prophets were chosen among mankind and the Books were also handed down amongst them, so that they would rule according to them and Allah (swt) will reward them, if not then they would be punished.

Just like how Allah (swt) quotes, the above Verse 67:15 towards mankind and not Jinns, as it should be understood because Allah (swt) chose us to represent and made earth and everything in it subservient to us and not Jinns, similarly there are many Verses in the Holy Quran, which are not related towards Jinn kind and only mankind, like for example...

(4:1) O men! Fear your Lord Who created you from a single being and out of it created its mate; and out of the two spread many men and women.

now the above Verse says "YA Ayyuanaas" 'Oh Mankind' can only be related towards mankind and not Jinn kind, because Allah (swt) 1st created Adam and then from him created his pair and then the rest of mankind from them... but were Jinn kind created the same way ? No where in Quran mentions HOW they were created, it is only mentioned from WHAT are they created... So such Verses are related to only mankind and not Jinn kind, but many Verses of Quran are related to both...

So the Quran is Specifically has been sent for Mankind but generally is for both, mankind and Jinn...

Salaam..

Oh well I was never in doubt about the quraan, but I just wanted to know that whether the quraan is completely for both humans and jinns, or only some parts for jinn...

Abu Hurairah narrates from Rasool-Allah , "Allah excepts the duaa of a person till the duaa is not related to sin or breaking of some relation and until he does not haste in that duaa. The people (May Allah be happy with them) asked, "Oh Rasool-Allah! What is meant by haste?" He replied, "That the person say "I did duaa again and again but my duaa wasn't accepted and afterwards he becomes hopeless and leaves the duaa. This is called haste." (Muslim)
