I am a non-Muslim that is reading the Qur'an, and thinking I might be close to reversion. I am only halfway or so through the second Sura. Is it recommended to read from front to back, or what is the recommended way to read it?

Asalamu Alaikum

Welcome to the forum.

It is recommended to read the Quran from front to back, but it isn't obligatory.
So if you want to look up a surah other than the one you're reading it's ok, and as you are studying, if you want to read other shorter surahs it's also ok.

Please feel free to ask anymore questions.

Peace
