I've always hated it for some reason. Just in School etc. I wasn't keen on reading novels/books, found it boring. But something I just realised is, I've recently been reading alot of books about Islam/Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) without ever thinking or finding it boring. Guess I just found it interesting how one man had no followers to having nearly 2billion today.

^ you should read The Life Of Muhammad (pbuh) translated by Ismail Raji al-Faruqi its pretty thick but once u get into it very informational and interesting it goes back to before the Prophet (pbuh) was even born and u get to learn more about his parents and family

thnks to those who have already joined and for those who haven't we welcome u to join our discussions it can be about religious books, fiction, non-fiction, etc.

Oh God, Rashad is joining? Uhhh... I dunno... I mean, if he wasn't joining then yeah, but....

Ehh, why not. :p

Will the books we discuss about,be on Islam?

I read history books but not now. I have too much studying to do.

Learning about history can be very useful but it's also depressing.

Sorry for the thread resurrection, but um... where did the group go? Was it deleted?

What kind of books are being suggested? I'd like to pick some too. Only religious books or non-religious as well? Anyone has read Bertrand Russell's works?
