Sujud point in Quran

My Question is:

How to go about the sujud (Prostration) point when reciting the Quraan.

Do u have to be in a state of Wudu to do this sujud? How exactly do I do it? Is it any different from the Sujud I make in my daily Salah?

Sajdah Tilaawat is be performed like a normal Sajdah. Wudhu is a condition.

Face the Qiblah and without raising the hands, recite Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar), going down in the Sajdah position. In Sajdah, recite Subhaana rabbiyal a'alaa at least 3 times. Thereafter, [words missing] reciting the Takbeer if you wish to. If you wish, you may arise from the Sajdah position into the Tashahhud position.

The Sajdah Tilaawat is now complete. There is no need for Salaam.

I would just add to the above, when coming up from the sajdah, don't say Allahu Akbar (if that sajdah is outside of salaat).

There is also another opinion regarding being in a state of wudhu for sajdah tilaawah:

Is it permissible for a menstruating woman to do Sajdat al-Tilaawah?

Is it permissible for a menstruating woman to do Sajdat al-Tilaawah and Sajdat al-Shukr? If it is not permissible, is it permissible for her just to say Subhaan Allaah if she hears an aayah in which a sajdah is prescribed?

Praise be to Allaah.

Firstly: in the cases where she is permitted to recite Qur’aan, she is also permitted to do Sajdat al-Tilaawah, if she happens to recite or hear a verse where the sajdah is prescribed. The correct view is that it is permissible for her to recite from memory, not from the Mus-haf, so on this basis the sajdah is prescribed for her, because it is not salaah (prayer), rather it is an act of submission to Allaah and worship, like other kinds of dhikr.

Secondly: it is not a condition for sajdat al-shukr and sajdat al-tilaawah on the part of one who is reciting or listening, that the person should be in a state of tahaarah (ritual purity), because they do not come under the rulings of salaah.

yeah its different from daily Salah. you just have to go in sajud and recite a dua. you can find that dua in any book. and ofcourse you have to be in your wadu. even for reciting the Quran or touching the Quran you have to be in wadu.
