Valentines day, female version

I’ve been waiting
For
Feb fourteen
Anticipating
Getting all dressed up
And dating

Counting
How many cards I get
Guy’s texting and calling
Won’t leave me alone
It’s all flattering
And a sign of my beauty
And popularity

Yes I’m a teen
And seen
And appreciated for my beauty
And the clothes I wear
This makes every male look and stare
Even the ones old enough to be my father

All this attention
I need
To feel good about myself
And the many guys on my phone list
And the two that I am dating

They say they love me
I stay non-committal
Not my problem if they want to play themselves
And get all emotional

Not ready for marriage
Just experimenting
And playing the field
And it aint hard
Offers daily
As I go back and forth from college and work
Like a model on a catwalk

It gets boring
All this dating
So I take a break from men
A few days
But they just can’t seem to leave me alone
As my mail box fills up with texts and messages

So now I’m worried
Who to date
And spend Valentines Day with
The one who spends the most cash
Or the one who says the most romantic things
Maybe flick a coin
Or go out with both
On the same day

Oh! Woe is me
And my dilemmas with guys
One day I’ll marry
And miss all this
Husband, kids and a family
And won’t be chased for my figure

Or maybe
Turn religious
Cover
And not bother
With pagan kufr festivals
As I submit to my lord
And follow all the commands gladly

But in the meantime
I follow my desires
And lusts
As I go around following the crowd
And doing things that I know I shouldn’t
But I make intention
To make tawba one day

I’ve been waiting
For
Feb fourteen
Anticipating
My new dress is green
I'll be dating

Counting
How many cards I get
cute guys acting like pests
All the late night texting and calling
so irresistible, i can't be left alone
It’s flattering
my beauty shone
when my body was shown
and yes Im a teen but this is all harmless fun

the clothes I wear....the way i style my hair
makes guys stare
after some practice a suggestive giggle is now under my guise
i can now seduce calmer guys
Even the ones old enough to be my father.

i played around with it...this is my wacky version couldnt be arsed to finish it

nice poem tho mashaAllah

Thanks for sharing,Shoukat. Its indeed a sad reality.I found this part funny.

This makes every male look and stare
Even the ones old enough to be my father
Lol....even in that old age people are unable to control their gaze.

And this one..
Or maybe
Turn religious
Cover
And not bother
With pagan kufr festivals
As I submit to my lord
And follow all the commands gladly

But in the meantime
I follow my desires
And lusts
As I go around following the crowd
And doing things that I know I shouldn’t

I really feel uneasy with this one.Who knows what comes next.We will live or die,who knows ^o)
