Hello, all. :)

This is is my first post here, and I have a question about something that I recently read. I saw somewhere that it is suggested that a person fasts during Ramadan before reverting. Is this true?

If that's the case, I would very much like to fast this year.

Thanks!

The minute a person knows they are Muslim and can say the Shahadah with sincerity that is the moment to revert. A person may not have as much as one more heart bat remaining in their life. We will all die one day and that time can come at any moment. None of us are guaranteed to have as much as one heart beat left.

If you say the shahadah at this very moment with knowledge and sincerity, You are immediately as much of a Muslim as the Oldest life long Muslim on earth.
