The Alim/Alimah Course
Ebrahim College's revolutionary Alim/Alimah Course Programme (ACP) provides a unique opportunity for brothers and sisters to study part-time in the evenings and weekends. We combine an exciting curriculum with an experienced and qualified team of traditionally trained scholars.
Access to Arabic and Tajweed (for beginners)
This is a unique course designed for complete beginners in Arabic and Tajweed covering the alphabet and basic rules. This course is ideal for anyone wishing to further their studies in either Arabic or Tajweed.
Arabic Language Courses
Arabic is the most important language for Muslims and is the language of the Quran. Our comprehensive range of Arabic courses cater for brothers and sisters of all levels and backgrounds.
Tajweed, Ijazah and Hifz Courses
Tajweed is the art of reciting the Qur’an correctly - a fard for all Muslims. Ebrahim College's Tajweed courses are some of the best available, delivering quality teaching for students of all abilities, with teachers who have ijazah in the multiple styles of Qira’ah (recitation). Students who progress successfully will have the opportunity to memorise parts of the Qur’an and obtain ijazah from their teacher(s). To ensure quality, we only allow upto 15 students per tajweed class.
Fiqh Courses
Students can choose from a variety of exciting courses covering the commands and rules of Allah (swt) pertaining to our worship and everyday lives such as prayer and purification, fasting and charity, hajj and umrah, money and dealings, marriage and divorce etc.
Aqeedah Courses
Aqeedah courses cover the basic articles of Iman that are essential to one’s faith as well as the important tenets of Sunni creed. Students will learn about the importance of correct beliefs and how the ulama developed this into a subject of study to preserve the correct beliefs of Islam and that of Ahlussunnah.
