Whatever happens in your life, no matter how troubling things might seem, do not enter the neighbourhood of despair. Even when all doors remain closed, God will open up a new path only for you. Be thankful! It is easy to be thankful when all is well. A Muslim is thankful not only for what he has been given but also for all that he has been denied.

Shams-i-Tabrizi - The Spiritual Instructor of Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi (May Allah Have Mercy on them both)

“Allah. It all starts with Him – the universe, humanity, and our own conception – and it all comes back to Him in the end. There’s no victory without Him, no progress, no peace. Strengthen your relationship with Him in the easy times, and you will find Him beside you in the hard times.” – Wael Abdelgawad

“Try to become an embodiment of compassion and mercy in your daily life. Do not wait for a situation to occur that will call out these virtues in you. Rather, seek out opportunities where you can manifest them along with all of the other prophetic virtues. Do not live your life passively waiting to be used, roused or stimulated into action by events. Live an active life wherein you become the one who is initiating acts of goodness and kindness in all that you do. Be an embodiment of the truth you represent. Let your words and comportment convey the dignity of the believer to all that you meet.” – Imam Zaid Shakir

“One of Allah’s names is Al-Wadood, The Most Loving, and this is appropriate because a Creator must have love in order to create works of beauty and power. Allah created you out of love. He created you with intent. He created you to succeed, not to fail, and He gave you all the tools that you need to thrive. Open your eyes and see what a miracle you are, what a thing of beauty, what a gift to the world. I see that in every person I know. Do you see it in yourself?” – Wael Abdelgawad

After Allah and our Prophet saw comes our family so serve you parents well whilst you can before they pass away and be the best daughter/son/sis/bro you can be to your family, charity begins at home so always serve your family first before you try and save the world.

Have you ever wondered "Who will I be without my amazing mother, the best father and annoying siblings?". Alhamdulillah for the blessings of good family and friends.

May Allah bless and protect our families always, Ameen. May Allah bless all the single muslims with with good, pious spouses and good natured children who will be the best slaves of Allah, Ameen.

For those single muslims who are in love, please remember (don't waste time and miss opportunity to marry the person!):

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “We do not think that there is anything better for those who love one another than marriage.” (Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 1847; classed as saheeh by al-Busayri and by Shaykh al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 624)

For those muslims who are not in love and seeking marriage:

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said "A woman may married for four reasons: for her property, for her rank, for her beauty, and for her religion (and character). So marry the one who is best in the religion and character and prosper". (Bukhari and Muslim)

Marry someone who will remind you of Allah and makes you fall in love with Allah everyday.

Isn't it amazing how we always somehow end up disappointed when we are trying to please people but when we do things with the intention of pleasing Allah, we are always statisfied and happy? If we try to live our life trying to please people, we will never be truly happy but if we do everything to please Allah, we will attain the true happiness and it will be good for mankind as well. Forget what the impious people say and think, carry on with your good work and do everything to please Allah because truly that's all you should care about, He only asks us to do good for our own benefit.

A word of advice to anyone who wants to change the world:

Your family's right upon you is greater than all other 7 billion members of the worlds population combined. The admiration of a million people pales in comparison to the smile you put on the face a parent, spouse, or child. They will carry your name and legacy in this world, and testify for or against you on the day of judgment. If you want them to remember you tomorrow, you have to be there for them today. So change the world and do your best to care for everyone, but don't let your positive influence exclude the people who need you most.

Don't be too harsh on people. Sometimes, their behaviour or attitude towards you might have absolutely NOTHING to do with you. You probably don't know the hidden demons they are facing in their lives or the stuff that's happening inside the four walls of their homes. Just be kind. Simple.
Sometimes that's enough, sometimes, it could mean the world to them. Gentleness and kindness beautifies everything.

We all have our days where we feel we can't survive. Sometimes dreams are shattered, friendships may fall apart. Loved ones may hurt us, finances may worry us, sickness may overtake us and we lose the people we love. But Allah will always be there to guide us even through the toughest of times. Never lose faith and always hope for the best. When you find a dream inside your heart don't ever let it go because dreams are the seeds from which beautiful tomorrows grow. Appreciate each day as a special gift filled with abundance, for Allah's blessings are like a fountain flowing endlessly

Keeping secrets others have entrusted us with is part of our duty. We would be committing grave injustice by “leaking” what we held in confidence. Many take this for granted, thinking that the password is “don’t tell anybody but…” yet even that is a sin. It destroys good relations & wreaks havoc in society. It is also advised NOT to share secrets unnecessarily in the first place. Many people have regretted this.(Mufti Ismail Menk)

Be generous in prosperity, and thankful in adversity. Be worthy of the trust of thy neighbor, and look upon him with a bright and friendly face. Be a treasure to the poor, an admonisher to the rich, an answerer of the cry of the needy, a preserver of the sanctity of thy pledge. Be fair in thy judgment, and guarded in thy speech. Be unjust to no man, and show all meekness to all men. Be as a lamp unto them that walk in darkness, a joy to the sorrowful, a sea for the thirsty, a haven for the distressed, an upholder and defender of the victim of oppression. Let integrity and uprightness distinguish all thine acts. Be a home for the stranger, a balm to the suffering, a tower of strength for the fugitive. Be eyes to the blind, and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring. Be an ornament to the countenance of truth, a crown to the brow of fidelity, a pillar of the temple of righteousness, a breath of life to the body of mankind, an ensign of the hosts of justice, a luminary above the horizon of virtue, a dew to the soil of the human heart, an ark on the ocean of knowledge, a sun in the heaven of bounty, a gem on the diadem of wisdom, a shining light in the firmament of thy generation, a fruit upon the tree of humility

Al-Qadi Iyad reported: Yahya ibn Yahya Al-Laith was sitting with Malik one day in the assembly of his students when someone announced that elephants were walking nearby. All of the students of Malik left to look at them, except Al-Laith.

Malik said to him, “Why have you not gone out to see them since they are not in your land of Al-Andalus?” Al-Laith said, “Indeed, I have only come from my land to see you and learn from your guidance and knowledge. I have not come to see elephants.”

Malik was impressed, so he named him “the intelligent one.”

Beneficial Quotes From Shaykul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله
“As for seeking to memorize the Qur’an then this is to be given preference over many of the things that the people consider to be knowledge, but are -in reality – either totally useless, or having little benefit. It is also to be given precedence in learning especially by those who wish to acquire knowledge of the Deen, its principles and its particulars. Since what is prescribed for such a person at this time is that he should begin by memorizing the Qur’aan, as it is the foundation of the branches of knowledge of the deen. This is contrary to what is done by many of the people on innovation, in that one of them will preoccupy himself with superfluous parts of knowledge; such as kalaam (rhetorical speech) and argumentation; or very rare matters of differences; and blind following, which there is no need for; or very strange and rare ahaadeeth which are not established, nor of benefit; and many discussions do not establish proofs. And he abandons memorizing the Qur’aan which is more important than all of this.”
[Fataawaa al-Kubra (2/54-55).]
“If you correct your hidden deeds subsequently, Allaah will correct your outward deeds.”
[‘al-Fatawa’ 3/277]
“*Whoever desires everlasting bliss, let him adhere firmly to the threshold of servitude.”
[Ibn Al Qayyim’s Al-Madaarij (1/531)]
“This whole religion revolves around knowing the truth and acting by it, and action must be accompanied by patience.”
[Majmoo-ul-Fataawaa, 10/38]
“Bearing witness to Tawheed opens the door of good and repentance from sins closes the door to evil.”
[Majmoo-ul-Fataawaa, 10/256]
“Sins are like chains and locks preventing their perpetrator from roaming the vast garden of Tawheed and reaping the fruits of righteous actions.”
[Majmoo’ al-Fatawa 14/49]
“Worship (al-‘Ibaadah) is a comprehensive term covering everything that Allaah loves and is pleased with – whether saying, or actions, outward and inward.”
Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/149)
“Waswaas is something that happens to everyone who turns to Allaah in Dhikr. It will inevitably happen to him. So he should be steadfast and remain patient, and persist in his Dhikr and prayer and not give up, for, by persisting in it he will foil the plot of the Shaytaan and, ‘ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaytaan.’ [Surah an-Nisa 4:76]
“Every time a person wants to turn his heart to Allaah, whispers of other matters come to him. The Shaytaan is like a bandit; every time a person wants to travel towards Allaah, he wants to intercept him.
“Hence, it was said to one of the salaf, ‘The Jews and the Christians say, we don’t experience waswaas. He replied, ‘They are right! What would Shaytaan do with a ruined house?’”
Majmoo` al-Fataawa (22/608)
“Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said: You should not look at what the person used to do, rather you should look at what kind of person they are today. The one who gets bogged down about people’s pasts, is just like Iblees who said to Allaah, “You created me from fire and you created him from clay””
[al-Minhaaj volume 2 page 430]
Ibn Taymiyyah:
“The reason why the religion of Allah and its rituals is vanishing, and kufr and sin are prevailing, is because of imitation of the kaafireen, just as the means of preserving all good is by following the ways and laws of the Prophets.”
(al-Iqtidaa’, 1/413)

Life begins as a friend, continues like a leason and end as a reality.

Instead of wasting 2 hours on learning how to tie a bow tie, spend two hours in educating yourself about the religion.

Respect is not about respecting those who like you.
But it's about respecting those who insult you.

Be patient, Be a winner.

As ego begins to leave the Heart. Noor(Light) begins to enter.

The true essence of Life can be understood by Helping Others

No matter what the world does to us, our Response should be Peace, Peace and Peace.

This is not a nice thing to say to a woman... it's like telling her although you are ugly and unattractive but I like you for your inner qualities... this is for you to prioritize. She knows there are always more beautiful women. Just praise her good qualities and her appearance. Trust me if you want your wife to keep looking nice to you then you have to put effort noticing her appearance and acknowledging it.
Women want to be told that they are desired and attractive and pretty. If the lady lacks imaan she will seek it else where. So the husband should be generous in showing his excitement towards her looks.

I don't know about that one.

Respectfully, anger nullifies patience which in turn negates anger. Excuses cause anger when brought to light and are deceitful. Indeed, not the way.

Anger must be let go of. One must stand behind their words, not excuse their actions with them.

You will never let free of anger without honesty within self. And a result of bound anger is a false, temporary patience.

With humility. Just my opinion.

Sister Emina's thoughts [emoji404]

[emoji262] People sometimes want to fit in, and in order to do so - they change. Sometimes because of our ways as Muslims, or other things in background, you feel like you need to apologize or be different so you could get some sort of approval. Humans are social beings, and that's fine. I read that more you get close to people, you want to get away from them. I guess they are never enough. And you will never be enough. Sometimes, that makes me sad, thinking that I will dissapoint people. But than again, I am dissapointing my Lord every single day. They are not my top priority to please. They should not even be in the priority list, because it is right there in Al-Fatiha, when we ask Allah to guide us to get blessings, and admit that we will either make Him angry or get lost in the process of finding them the other way. Humans dont own anything, we all miss our real home. And I loved that part about Giant in me, because I sometimes feel so weak, and that I am trying to please people, thay I forget that I live my own life, and no matter how fused everything is, and melted together, everyone of us is so unique and different that is amazing that we even function together. And it helps motivating to change, it gives you the key, which you always had, you just didn't know or were scared.
