Why is Ayat al Kursi cosidered the greatest verse in the Qur'an? What are its virtues and benefits of reciting it? ^o)

because it defines the nature and essence of Allah swt, His glory and His power. Its the greatest verse of Quran because without ayat al kursi, we remain unknown about who Allah is what His properties are like.
 
The verse starts with : Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa ("Allah! There is no god but He")

Is there anything greater than that sentence?
