For those of you who believe that Heaven and Hell are states of minds and not places.

For those of you who believe that Heaven and Hell are states of minds and not places. How can Heaven and Hell be states of mind if these states of mind are not eternal since all Humans are going to die someday.

By shedding one assumption in particular; that the death of the body necessarily means the death of the mind (or 'soul'). That covers most religions, in some way or another. Some religions consider that the mind does 'die' with the body, but that both are resurrected by God come 'judgement day', or equivalent.
