Attention attention!!i need your help!!

Brothers and Sisters,

Background:
When a baby is born we try our best to name him/her the bestest.But sometimes it turns out that the baby is not doing well be it his/her health or education or general character in the later years of life.

I am not sure whether this has religious significance or not but in Pakistan,we change that baby's name and viola the problems fade away.:)

Objective:
Assuming that all of you know how 'strongest' of an ally my homeland's ever changing govt.s have been to U.S--endangering the life of its own civilians has been nothing new-not caring about the 'collateral damages' led by drone attacks is just another addition to their submission list--imposed terrorism,poverty,corruption,lack of education and other modern day scourges (going away from deen and yet being labelled as the most religious) attack Pakistan from every possible side......and even after being afflicted by such disasters--nobody likes Pakistan.

SO,I thought,why not put up my brothers and sisters here at IB to suggest names for this never-doing-fine muslim country Pakistan(land of Pures).May be that way it could get rid of the misfortunes surrounding it.May be its just the name.*shrugs*

I dont think I will want to change the name of country for which my ancestors shed their blood. those who love their Muslim ancestors who sacrificed for this country and its name will find your suggestion quite blasphemous, to be totally honest with you. But I do understand that you posted this in a light mood but you have to be careful about light hearted posts regarding such sensitive manners.

I totally understand what you are saying.And I am REALLY sorry for if it felt blasphemous--but it was never meant to be insulting.I am myself a proud Pakistani.

It was posted like you said in a light vein...it has got nothing to do with the sacrifices.Not to mention our ancestors sacrificed for a country where Islam would prosper--it was to be founded on the principles of State of Madina--it all faded away--what do we have in our hands now??Westernized materialists??or neighborhood dramas afflicted population?


I say Pakistan is losing its Pakistanity (if you know what I mean).

The name of the baby is changed when the current name has some other not so good meaning(s). In the case of Pakistan, the name doesn't need a change, the corrupt leaders/politicians need to. The land of pures needs to be purified from such people.

And may be I wasn't able to make others understand what I meant was that there isn't any problem with Pakistan--but the misfortunes keep coming its way--the messes that aren't ours we are being thrown in them(war on terror,OBL found in Pakistan)--and all this enmity is because this country was created in the name of Islam.And now even islam is not 'free' here.:(

The moment the government tells USA to get out and stands up for itself, then May Allah(swt) guide that country and Inshallah bring it's people who have suffered so much great happiness and ease of life.

Sadly they love this world more than the love for Allah(swt), so they take whatever money Kuffar gives them and never say much more.
