This a very old story, I hope some of you have not heard it before. Believe it or not this story found it's way into Philoshophy Books

A little sparrow decided that he would not accompany his friends and fly south and would remain for the winter.
The snow finally arrived and the little sparrow perched on a tree started to change his mind but due to the extreme cold could not fly away and eventually fell from the tree into the snow. By now he was more dead than alive, just then a cow walked by and defecated on the sparrow; in the warmth of the dung he revived and even found some worms to eat.
Now revitalized he popped up and started to chirp merrily when a cat came by and ate him.

The moral of the story is that not everybody that defecates on you is your enemy.
Not everybody that comes to your resque is your friend.
It's not always bad to be in the poopoo and most important of all is that when you're in the poopoo keep quiet about it.

A rich man had two sons one was always sad and the other was always happy. He could not understand why as both had the identical things. He decided to try an experiment. He bought two large storage shed one he filled with the best and most popular of toys. The other he filled with horse manure. He gave the one filled with toys to the boy who was always sad and the one filled with horse manure to the one who was always happy.

Later he came back. the sad boy in the shed filled with toys was sitting in the corner weeping to himself. The toys all untouched. He asked the boy why he was so sad and the boy answered. "I can not move as I am afraid if I leave somebody will steal all of these wonderful toys. I want to play with them but I am afraid I might get them dirty or break them." He then went to the other shed the boy inside was digging in the manure looking for something, laughing happily and singing to himself. the father asked him why he was so happy and the boy answered "With all of this manure, there must be a pony around."

Lesson: Happiness does not depend on what you have or do not have.

When Bishop Tutu was asked how did Christianity come to Africa he said: When the white came to Africa he brought his Bible with and showed it to the African and then taught him to pray, so all the Africans knelt closed their eyes and prayed and when they opened their eyes they had the Bible and the word of God and the white man had their land.

The moral of the story, always keep one eye open around missionaries or in the African point of view around whites.

Bliss
Snoopy is jumping up and down smiling when Lucy comes by looks at him and says: "why are you jumping up and down you ignorant stupid dog"

The moral of the story is you don't need much brains to be happy.

[Innocent Soul]

As my friend was passing by the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from the ropes they were tied to but for some reason, they did not. My friend saw a trainer nearby and asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

“Well,” he said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.” My friend was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn't, they were stuck right where they were.

Moral
Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before? So make an attempt to grow further. Why shouldn't we try it again?


Your attempt may fail, but never fail to make an attempt and choose not to accept the false boundaries and limitations created by the past.
