Assalam Alekum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu Respected Brothers and sisters in Islam.

Im reading Maariful Quran (Wisdom of Quran) a commentary of Quran by Respectable Pakistani Mufti Muhammad Shafi Usmani Rahmatullah Aleyh. In spite of every word of this book is worth reading and make you understand the Quran in a really amazing way,i found this explanation, the most beautiful. This is the explanation of Bismillahir Rahman ArRaheem.I assure you you never know the beauty of this Ayah the way you understand from this one.I created this post for a brother on another forum but i wish you all read this beautiful explanation and benifit from it.

Here it is.

I have only started to read this. insha-Allah it is good. May Allah give you many rewards for posting. one thing that i want to comment aboput is the saying os some scholars who say that bismillah is peculiar to the Quran while others say it was present in previous books as well. i think it must have been a part of all Holy Books because Sulaiman AS had started his letter to the Queen of Saba with bismillahi Rahman i Raheem as is stated in Surah Al-Naml. When she read the letter, she said "innahoo min Sulaiman wa innahoo bismillahi rahmani raheem" - it is from Sulaiman and it (starts) with bismilla..." See Surah Naml for the exact translation

Subhanallah, you indeed brought a very good point into notice,my dear sister.
I am unable to comment on this topic as the Respected Mufti Usmani RA adopt both the opinion. If there was something for sure,he would surely mention it in his book. But your point is really intresting,i'll look into it and will try to find some reliable answer Inshallah or may be any one from here will help Inshallah.

Jazakallahu Khyran :)
