heres a poem i found i would like to share =)

The peace represented in your eyes,
The humble way that you stand.
Makes me tempted to learn,
...Tempted to understand.

The words that you preach,
and the way that you act.
You say there's only one God,
you're sure, and certain its fact.

Despite the hardship,
the possible pain.
Your'e more worried about the hereafter
Hoping paradise you'll gain.

Your strong and dedicated,
The Quran and Sunnah your foundation.
You know that this dunya's over-rated
And your faith, keeps you from evil temptation.

You are a Muslim,
To Islam you hold firm.
May Allah increase us in good,
guide us all, before the appointed term

Brothers acting like they're Rock
Sisters acting like they're hot
Muslims smoking pot
It happens a lot
And I hope n people stop and think about the clock
It goes tick + tock, life is over then you drop
Allah will raise you up to see what your life was worth
What did your ears hear, what did your eyes see
What did your mouth say to those in your family
‘Cos children cussing out their dads, moms is getting mad
Parents getting frustrated ‘cos kids are getting bad
They're physically involved
and some are getting drunk
And others acting like Paradise is not what they want
And the mothers and father crying, “What happened to our baby?
Tried to raise ‘em right and now this child has grown up crazy.”
Maybe it's because their self esteem is really low
Or maybe it's because the children didn't know THAT!!!
( SOO TRUE!!)

When I say..I am a Muslim,
I'm not shouting: "Down with Christians and Jews"
I am whispering: "I seek peace"
and Islam is the path that I choose.

When I say.. I am a Muslim,
I speak of this with pride.
And confess that sometimes I stumble,
and need Allah to be my guide.

When I say..I am a Muslim,
I know this makes me strong.
And in those times when I am weak,
I pray to Allah for strength to carry on.

When I say. . . I am a Muslim,
I'm not boasting of success.
I'm acknowledging that Allah has rescued me,
and I cannot ever repay the debt.

When I say..I am a Muslim,
I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are indeed visible,
but Allah forgives because his followers are worth it.

When I say..I am a Muslim,
it does not mean I will never feel pain.
I still have my share of heartaches,
which is why I invoke Allah's name.

When I say..I am a Muslim,
I do not wish to judge.
I have no such authority
My duty is to submit to Allah's all-encompassing love.
