Assalamu alaikkum,

You can share and review the islamic apps which you had tried from the Android market here in this thread, please mention the phone model and the OS version, in which u had tried.

App Name : Quran Android
Its a free, open source Quran application for Android devices. You can download audio for the verses, related to various recitors. There are many features under development. Its a super App.
I am using Galaxy Ace with Gingerbread and this App runs without any problem Alhamdulillah.

Another Quran app, with ibn Kathir tafseer.

App Name : Complete Quran by Badr Interactive
Has Ibn Kathir tafseer (commentary) and comes in a Limited version and Donor version (with extra features)
I have checked the Limited version in Galaxy Ace with Gingerbread, works well. Alhamdulillah.

Are there any apps which teach basic arabic words? I'd love to learn arabic.

It worked fine when i tried to translate to/from english, hindi, french, arabic. Its a Gud app. I havent used any other app.
