So then, how do you think our Imams of today would do if they were to apply for this post???? hhmmmm

I shudder to think how many would even come close to getting this position!

Allahul Musta'aan.

Wassalamu 'alaykum

Subhanallah. Our standards here are so low.

What does being handsome have to do with anything? ^o)

Allahu 'Alam. Ordinarily, it doesn't. But you have to remember this was the position of Imam for one of the most important masajid in the uthmani khilafah. Naturally, the position required meeting a lot of people and being a people person. Perhaps a handsome countenance would help ;D.

These days an Imam does not have to master physics and mathematics as long as they master the internet and able to use Google.
