Why can I not upload my own avatar and Signature?

in order to upload your own avatar and signature - as well as access other features of the forum, e.g. profiles - you have to become a full member. you're currently a limited member by default.

the only way to become a full member is to reach 50 posts. your account will then be upgraded. :)
