Is there any hadith about doing haram without knowing it. If so, what are they, what is the punishment for doing haram unintentionally or out of ignorance, thinking you will get rewarded for it.
e.g say a muslim draws pictures of mecca, showing people of different colours and races praying together... for the purpose of to promoting islam. thinking he is doing a good thing he will get rewarded for...but actually it is haram, but he doesnt know that. What does the hadith say about situations like this?
